Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor
Tony is a managing director and senior wealth advisor working closely with high-net-worth individuals, foundations and endowments. He is also an integral part of the RiverPoint investment team. Tony has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He has particular experience in equity valuation and fundamental analysis. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati and was named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Cincinnati Magazine and Five Star Professional in 2014 and 2015.
Prior to joining RiverPoint Tony was a vice president and portfolio manager at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management, an institutional investment firm specializing in asset management for foundations and endowments, public funds and high-net-worth individuals. Tony was a co-manager of the firm’s growth and income strategies where his responsibilities included security analysis, portfolio construction and investment strategy. Previously, Tony was an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Fifth Third Bank and a senior manager at Morningstar. Tony started his career at Accenture, where he led technology and strategy projects for financial services clients in the U.S. and Europe.
Tony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with honors from Miami University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree in analytical finance and accounting from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. Tony volunteers in the community and was selected by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber for Leadership Cincinnati (Class 37). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati and 4C for Children. In addition, Tony is a member of the Founders Society at the Cincinnati Art Museum and has served on the Niehoff Lecture Committee at the Mercantile Library where he remains a Thackeray Society member.
The Five Star Wealth Manager award is given by Five Star Professional. To receive the award, a wealth manager must satisfy 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria, including registration as an investment advisory representative, employment as a credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of five years, favorable regulatory and compliant history, firm review based on internal firm standards and accepting new clients. The award is not indicative of the wealth manager’s future performance. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed in the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. The Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty under 40 is an annual award program that recognizes young professionals in the Tri-State who have reached major milestones in their careers and also made significant contributions to the community.
