Anthony Roberts, III, CFA
Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor
Tony is a managing director and senior wealth advisor working closely with high-net-worth individuals, foundations and endowments. He is also an integral part of the RiverPoint investment team. Tony has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He has particular experience in equity valuation and fundamental analysis. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati and was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Cincinnati Magazine by Five Star Professional in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Prior to joining RiverPoint, Tony was a vice president and portfolio manager at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management, an institutional investment firm specializing in asset management for foundations and endowments, public funds and high-net-worth individuals. Tony was a co-manager of the firm’s growth and income strategies where his responsibilities included security analysis, portfolio construction and investment strategy. Previously, Tony was an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Fifth Third Bank and a senior manager at Morningstar. Tony started his career at Accenture, where he led technology and strategy projects for financial services clients in the U.S. and Europe.
Tony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with honors from Miami University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree in analytical finance and accounting from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. Tony volunteers in the community and was selected by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber for Leadership Cincinnati (Class 37). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Art Museum, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati and 4C for Children.
Tony was awarded The Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2015 Forty Under 40 Award. This honor is awarded annually to recognize Greater Cincinnati’s next generation of young leaders and innovators; individuals who have already made a mark professionally and in the community. The nominees must be residents of the Tri-State and under the age of 40 at the time. An independent panel of judges selects honorees based on the reason of the nomination, career achievements, community involvement and awards and recognition.ﾠ
